Across the nation, law enforcement officers and Fire-Rescue personnel work together as part of their sworn duty to protect lives and property. This bond and dedication runs deep and has led to a lifelong commitment of cooperation and perseverance. In light of good-natured fun, Police and Fire has come together to become Las Vegas Guns and Hoses Hockey Team and is a not-for-profit organization comprised of firefighters, law enforcement officers and members from national law enforcement and fire agencies based in the Vegas Valley, who donate their time, money and efforts to raise funds to support the team's expenses as well as charitable organizations.
Over the past 10 years we have been participating as two separate groups. In January 2006, we came together as a collective group to form Las Vegas Guns and Hoses. We have successfully established our not-for-profit organization and in our fist event collected $15,000 which was donated to the Nevada Patriots Fund and the Injured Police Officers Fund. In 2007 we have played for the Atlanta Police and Fire Foundation raising $5000, the Nevada Child Seekers and The Childrens Heart Foundation of Nevada raising over $10,000 and most recently raising approx $2500 for our first Tournament "Benifitting Benneman." |

| We look forward in participating in future events, and representing this great city of Las Vegas in a positive and competitive manner. |
